  • Relief of mild to moderate pain in dogs and cats

  • Relief of mild to moderate pain in dogs and cats after a variety of surgical procedures, e.g. orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.

Profound sedation is achieved using Torbugesic in conjunction with Domitor, making it suitable for radiography, fracture examination or casting, dematting, ear cleaning, wound management, anal gland flushing and other minor procedures.

Torbugesic may be used in combination with Domitor and ketamine hydrochloride as a triple anaesthetic.

  • Produces analgesic effects within 15 minutes with a duration of up to four hours.

    Effective pain relief.

Eliminates pain associated with torsion, impaction, intussusception, spasmodic and tympanic colic and post partum pain in horses.

Should reduce the incidence of self-inflicted injuries or visceral displacement.

Administered pre operatively, it will reduce the amount of analgesia required post operatively in dogs and cats.

Pre-anaesthetic use of Torbugesic in dogs allows a reduction in the dose of thiopentone sodium needed to induce anaesthesia, thus reducing the risk of anaesthetic respiratory depression.

  • Single 10 mL and 50 mL vials Torbugesic 10 mg/mL.

Dogs: 0.01-0.03 mL/kg IM, SC or IV.

Cats: 0.01-0.04 mL per 1 kg bwt (IM, SC or IV).
