    Description:

    • The flea, tick, mange and mite monthly chew for dogs that works fast and lasts.
    • The active ingredient, sarolaner, is administered orally and is quickly absorbed into the bloodstream (can be detected in the bloodstream after 30 minutes).
    • Starts killing fleas in 3 hours, ticks in 8 hours.

    Recommendations for use:

    • Treatment, control and prevention of flea (Ctenocephalides spp.) infestations.
    • Control of flea allergy dermatitis.
    • Treatment and control of paralysis ticks (Ixodes holocyclus).
    • Treatment and control of brown dog ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus).
    • Treatment and control of bush ticks (Haemaphysalis longicornis).

  • Dosage

    For oral use. Remove one chew from the foil-backed blister card at time of monthly treatment, and then return the blister card to the carton. Simparica is a highly palatable flavoured chewable tablet, readily consumed by dogs when offered as a treat. If the tablets are not taken up voluntarily by the dog, they can also be given with a small amount of food or directly into the mouth. Dose: sarolaner 2 to 4 mg/kg bodyweight.

    For use in puppies from 8 weeks of age and weighing 1.3 kg or more.

    Dogs ≤ 2.5 kg bodyweight: dose: One 5 mg tablet; ≤ 5 kg: dose: One 10 mg tablet; ≤ 10 kg: dose: One 20 mg tablet; ≤ 20 kg: dose: One 40 mg tablet; ≤ 40 kg: dose: One 80 mg tablet; ≤ 60 kg: dose: One 120 mg tablet; >60 kg: dose: Appropriate combination of tablets.

    For dogs over 60 kg, administer an appropriate combination of chews to achieve the recommended dose of 2 to 4 mg/kg body weight. The chew should not be divided. For optimal treatment and control of fleas and tick infestations, the product should be administered at regular monthly intervals. Treatment with Simparica may begin at any time of the year and should continue without interruption all year round
