    • Glanvac 6S provides protection against Cheesy Gland (CLA) and the main clostridial diseases with the added benefit of correcting selenium deficiencies.
    • The prevention of cheesy gland in sheep flocks improves wool production and increases the quality of sheep meat.
    • Selenium is an essential trace element that is vital for wool production, growth and fertility.
    • Selenium deficiencies in sheep result in reduced wool production and growth rates, ill thrift, infertility in ewes and death of young lambs due to white muscle disease.

    • High level disease protection for your flock.
    • Improves lamb marking percentages by preventing a wide range of clostridial deaths such as pulpy kidney.
    • Improves meat quality through cheesy gland protection, ensuring export and domestic customers receive a quality product.
    • Improves wool quality and quantity by protecting against cheesy gland.

    Maintains a high level of selenium in the lactating ewe and lamb in a period of high requirement which aids in wool production and growth, fertility in ewes and prevents white muscle disease in lambs.

    • Control of caseous lymphadenitis (CLA); prevention of enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney disease) and tetanus in sheep, and lambs.

    Treats and prevents white muscle disease in lambs in areas of known or suspected selenium deficiency. (Use only in areas of known selenium deficiency)

  • Glanvac is produced using Zoetis' Ultra-Filtration Technology. This:

    • Ensures the vaccine remains of the highest quality by seeking out and removing unwanted particles
    • Enables the vaccine to generate a more targeted immune response
    • Delivers reliable protection within a convenient 1mL dose rate

    Glanvac 6S provides broad protection against the fatal clostridial diseases and cheesy gland (CLA). It also contains selenium for improved lamb survival, lamb growth and wool production.

  • Dose rate: 1mL for all classes of sheep

    Injection site: subcutaneously in the side of the neck just behind or below the base of the ear.

    Lambs need 2 doses:

    • First ‘priming’ dose at marking;
    • Second ‘booster’ dose at weaning

    • First ‘priming’ dose at the time of joining and scanning;
    • Second ‘booster’ dose approximately 4 weeks before the expected date of lambing

    Other classes of previously unvaccinated sheep need 2 doses:

    • First ‘priming’ dose
    • Second ‘booster’ dose approximately 4 weeks after

    Previously vaccinated sheep need ‘annual booster’ vaccinations:

    • For ewes vaccinate 4 weeks before the expected date of lambing.
    • This should pass temporary immunity to their lambs in the colostrum, or first milk, to protect them for the first 6 to 8 weeks of their lives.

    Where possible give the annual booster at least 2 weeks prior to the time of maximum risk, e.g. transfer to lush pasture or grain feeding in the case of enterotoxaemia.
