    • Glanvac 3S B12 provides protection against Cheesy Gland (CLA), tetanus and pulpy kidney, with the added ability to help correct selenium and cobalt deficiency.
    • The prevention of cheesy gland in sheep flocks improves wool production and increases quality of sheep meat.
    • Selenium and cobalt are essential trace elements which are vital for wool and energy production, fertility in ewes, as well as cell growth and maturation.
    • Deficiencies of these trace elements result in reduced wool production and growth rates, ill thrift, infertility in ewes and death of young lambs due to white muscle disease.

    • Protects your flock from disease.
    • Improves lamb marking percentages by preventing clostridial deaths such as pulpy kidney.
    • Improves meat quality through cheesy gland protection, ensuring export and domestic customers receive a quality product
    • Improves wool quality and quantity by protecting against cheesy gland and maintaining vitamin B12 reserves.
    • Maintains levels of selenium in the lactating ewe and lamb in a period of high requirement which aids in wool production, growth and fertility in ewes and helps to prevent white muscle disease in lambs
    • Control of caseous lymphadenitis (CLA); prevention of enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney disease) and tetanus in sheep and lambs.
    • Treatment and prevention of vitamin B12 deficiency in sheep in areas of known or suspected cobalt deficiency.
    • Prevention of white muscle disease in lambs in areas of known or suspected selenium deficiency. Best used in areas of known selenium deficiency.
  • Glanvac is produced using Zoetis' Ultra-Filtration Technology. This:

    • Ensures the vaccine remains of the highest quality by seeking out and removing unwanted particles
    • Enables the vaccine to generate a more targeted immune response
    • Delivers reliable protection within a convenient 1mL dose rate

    Glanvac 3S B12 protects against two clostridial diseases (tetanus and pulpy kidney) and cheesy gland (CLA). It also contains selenium and vitamin B12 to enhance liveweight and fleece weight gains while also improving lamb survival and growth.

  • Dose rate: 1mL for all classes of sheep

    Injection site: subcutaneously in the side of the neck just behind or below the base of the ear.

    Lambs need 2 doses:

    • First ‘priming’ dose at marking;
    • Second ‘booster’ dose at weaning

    Previously unvaccinated ewes need 2 doses:

    • First ‘priming’ dose at the time of joining or scanning;
    • Second ‘booster’ dose approximately 4 weeks before the expected date of lambing

    Other classes of previously unvaccinated sheep need 2 doses:

    • First ‘priming’ dose
    • Second ‘booster’ dose approximately 4 weeks after

    Previously vaccinated sheep need ‘annual booster’ vaccinations:

    • For ewes vaccinate 4 weeks before the expected date of lambing.
    • This should pass temporary immunity to their lambs in the colostrum, or first milk, to protect them for the first 6 to 8 weeks of their lives.

    Where possible give the annual booster at least 2 weeks prior to the time of maximum risk, e.g. transfer to lush pasture or grain feeding in the case of enterotoxaemia.
