Fostera® PCV MH

Each dose contains inactivated Porcine Circovirus Type 1-Type 2 Chimera (RP ≥ 1.0).

For PCV 2, duration of immunity has been demonstrated for at least 23 weeks following a single vaccination. For M. hypopneumoniae, duration of immunity has been demonstrated for at least 16 weeks.

Take care to avoid accidental self-injection. Accidental self-administration may result in local bruising, pain and swelling. In the event of self-administration, seek medical attention and show the package leaflet or the label to the doctor.

Shake well before use. Unused vaccine must be discarded within 12 hours of opening. Inject intramuscularly into the side of the neck using aseptic technique. Inject 2 mL intramuscularly into pigs 3 weeks of age or older, or 2 x 1mL doses at a 2 week interval from 3 weeks of age or older. Caution: avoid carcass damage. Sterilise all injection apparatus by boiling before use. Avoid use of strong disinfectants on apparatus. Maintain cleanliness at all times. Keep needles sharp and clean. Replace frequently. Use needles of appropriate gauge and length. As far as possible avoid injection of animals during wet weather or under dusty conditions. This product must be injected only into muscle tissue. Use all product within 12 hours of opening.
