Bovatec ® 20CC Lasalocid Sodium Premix Sheep

Bovatec® Lasalocid Sodium Premix is an ionophore containing Lasalocid sodium 200g/kg (20%).

To aid in the reduction of faecal shedding caused by Eimeria spp.

• Bovatec® 20CC Feed Additive Premix is for use in complete feed or supplements to a ration, given by continuous feeding.
• Thoroughly mix Bovatec® 20CC Feed Additive Premix into the ration to provide following rate of Lasalocid sodium.
• General Administration rate: Bovatec® 20CC Feed Additive Premix is used continuously at a rate of 165g per tonne (1000kg) of finished feed (air dried basis).
• Administration according to management situation:
• For improvement in liveweight gains and feed conversion efficacy in total mixed rations mix 165g (0.165kg) of Bovatec® 20 CC in one (1) tonne (1000kg) of feed on a 100% dry matter basis. This provides 33mg Lasalocid/kg (33ppm) in the feed

• For control of the clinical signs of coccidiosis:
  • Hand feeding pasture sheep – Hand feed continuously at the rate of 75mg of Lasalocid per animal per day.
  • To ensure equal accessibility for sheep feed no less than 0.5kg of medicated supplement per head per day

• Do not use in lactating ewes which are producing or may in the future produce milk that may be used or processed for human consumption.
• Not to be fed to horses or other equids as this may be fatal.
• Not to be used as a single dose treatment.
• Keep medicated feed and premix out of reach of dogs, cats and other household pets.

Do not contaminate dams, rivers, streams or other waterways with Avatec/Bovatec^® Technical because is toxic to fish and some aquatic invertebrates.

• Storage:

• Store below 25ºC (Air Conditioning) in a dry place.
• Protect from light.
• Keep bag tightly closed

• Withholding period:

• Meat – Zero (0) days

• • Milk– Do not use in lactating ewes which are producing or may in the future produce milk that may be used or processed for human consumption.
