Avatec ® /Bovatec ® Technical

Avatec/Bovatec Technical is an ionophore containing Lasalocid sodium 900g/kg (90%)

Avatec/Bovatec Technical is recommended as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria spp in broilers, rearing replacement pullets and in turkeys.

Avatec/Bovatec^® Technical is not for resale in this form and directions for use are given as a guideline only

It is intended for use by feed formulators for incorporation in medicated premixes

Do not exceed recommended use rate for Bovatec^®

Broiler and replacement pullets: Use Avatec/Bovatec Technical continuously in the complete feed to provide 75g – 100g/tonne (75 – 100ppm) of Lasalocid sodium.

Growing turkeys: Use Avatec/Bovatec Technical continuously in the complete feed to provide 90g – 125g/tonne (90 – 125ppm) of Lasalocid sodium.

Not to be added to feed consumed by hens producing fertile eggs.
Not to be added to feed for game birds other than turkeys.
Not to be used as a single dose treatment.
Not to be fed to horses or other equids as this may be fatal.
Do not use in laying birds within 14 days of laying where eggs or eggs products are to be used for human consumption.
Do not use in broilers and replacement pullets less than three (3) days before slaughter for human consumption.

Do not contaminate dams, rivers, streams or other waterways with Avatec/Bovatec Technical because is toxic to fish and some aquatic invertebrates.

Storage:

Store below 30ºC (Air Conditioning)

In a dry place.

Protect from light.

Keep bag tightly closed

Withholding period:

Broiler and replacement pullets: Meat – Do not use less than three (3) days before slaughter for human consumption.

Laying birds: Eggs – Do not use within fourteen (14) days of laying

Growing turkeys: Meat – Zero (0) days and Eggs - Zero (0) days
