Cattle Vaccine Storage and Handling
Silirum® for bovine Johne’s disease
Silirum vaccine is a vet only product that can aid in the control of Bovine Johne’s Disease (BJD). In herds where a diagnosis of BJD has been confirmed or as part of a whole farm biosecurity plan to reduce the risk of infection entering the herd, it is recommended that all replacement calves are vaccinated at 3-6 weeks of age.

Ultravac Scourshield® Vaccine
Calf scours is one of the most stressful and costly disease syndromes for vets and farmers to deal with.
Ultravac Scourshield® vaccine may be used for the vaccination of healthy pregnant cows and heifers as an aid in preventing diarrhoea in their calves caused by certain bacteria and viruses.
The primary vaccination should consist of two doses at least 3–9 weeks apart to pregnant cows, with the second dose given 2–6 weeks prior to calving.
Annual boosters with a single dose should be administered 2–6 weeks before each subsequent calving.
